Partner Rahul Kapoor and associate Shokoh Yaghoubi wrote an article for Law360 outlining considerations for businesses in the process of choosing an artificial intelligence (AI) vendor. Rahul and Shokoh said businesses should, among other things, consider the source of a vendor’s AI model, the experience and expertise level of the vendor, and how the vendor addresses privacy compliance and data security.
“By evaluating the vendor's technology, expertise, support services, transparency and the other aforementioned factors, businesses can mitigate the risks posed by acquiring the vendor's AI services, while maximizing the value of the business's investment,” Rahul and Shokoh said.
