Financial Times Names Morgan Lewis Among North America's Most Innovative Law Firms

NEW YORK, December 12, 2024: Morgan Lewis has been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the most innovative law firms in North America at the 2024 Financial Times Innovative Lawyers North America Awards. The awards honor law firms, in-house teams, and lawyers who are developing and delivering new ways to serve clients and drive positive change in the legal profession.

The firm was also commended in three categories at the Financial Times Awards ceremony:

  • Innovation in Digital Legal Practice for developing the Search Term Validator for eDiscovery and Diligence – (eData: Scott Milner, Jennifer Mott Williams, Ethan Ackerman, and LIT/Appellate Stephanie Schuster)
  • Innovative Lawyers in Deals & Financing for advising Bank of America in the first "debt-for-nature” transaction in Africa (CBT/Capital Markets and Public Companies: Sandra Vrejan, Carter Brod, Charles Sweet, and Peter Sharp)
  • Innovative Lawyers in Energy Transition for establishing the Carbon Cut Note Program to provide financing for sustainable commercial development (ESG & Sustainability/Structured Transactions Charles Sweet and Jerry Parker)

At last year’s Financial Times Innovative Lawyers North America Awards, Morgan Lewis was named the winner of the Innovative Lawyers in Access to Justice & Civil Rights category and recognized as a standout in the Innovation in Knowledge & Data category for launching ML Client Intel: Know Your Client, which provides client information in a frequently updated dashboard containing reports from multiple sources.
