NEW YORK, November 3, 2023: Morgan Lewis earned the #3 and #8 spots in nationwide summer associate satisfaction surveys from Law360 Pulse and The American Lawyer, respectively. The firm also earned high marks in The American Lawyer’s survey rankings by city, securing the #1 spot in each of Chicago, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley and placing among the top 10 for Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington DC.
For its annual look at how much summer associates liked their time at law firms, The American Lawyer surveyed 3,471 summer associates from more than 70 law firms and ranked the firms according to responses.
The Law360 Pulse survey is done in two parts, with the first focusing on the summer associate application process and on-campus interviews, and the second focusing on the summer associate experience. For the second part, Law360 received 815 responses from 1L, 2L, and 3L law school students, including part-time and evening students, on questions focused on confidence-building, networking and mentorship, compensation, and fun programming.
Morgan Lewis’s 10-week 2023 Summer Associate Program welcomed 117 associates across 11 offices. In addition to providing summer associates with networking and mentorship opportunities, our program allows participants to gain skills through work assignments and pro bono opportunities.
