25 septembre 2023CHICAGO and PHILADELPHIA, September 25, 2023: Morgan Lewis partner Harvey Bartle has been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). As a fellow, Harvey will contribute to the ACTL’s ongoing efforts to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, and ethics and the administration of justice through education and public statements on independence of the judiciary, trial by jury, respect for the rule of law, access to justice, and fair and just representation of all parties to legal proceedings.
A former federal prosecutor and US Marine Corps infantry officer, Harvey represents clients in federal and state government investigations and enforcement actions and in a broad range of civil matters, including public nuisance, mass tort, insurance coverage, and contract disputes. Harvey has served as lead trial counsel in trials and arbitrations across the United States, including, most recently, several multi-month trials in nationwide opioid litigation. Harvey also maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on issues related to veterans.
ACTL is an invitation-only fellowship across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. ACTL fellows are exceptional trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Harvey joins 11 other Morgan Lewis lawyers in the prestigious legal association. They were inducted on September 23 during the ACTL’s Annual Meeting in San Diego.
