Morgan Lewis partner Jennifer Breen was quoted in a Tax Notes article about the CARES Act implications on restrictions in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. In the article, she discussed how the changes impact taxpayers with a net operating loss (NOL), noting that the US Internal Revenue Service is “working around the clock, putting out great guidance, and I do think that to the extent they can, they will” process the NOL carryback refund claims.
