CTF Transfer Pricing and Live Webcast

Tax partner Tom Linguanti will speak at the Canadian Tax Foundation’s (CTF’s) upcoming Transfer Pricing and Live Webcast program.

Tom’s panel titled Transfer Pricing Update will discuss ongoing reforms in Canada's transfer pricing landscape. Key topics to be discussed and contrasted with experiences in other jurisdictions (the United States and Australia) include the following:

• Proposed legislative reforms to align section 247 more closely to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD's) Post-BEPS Guidelines and the role of economic substance in the transfer pricing analysis
• The implementation of an OECD consistency rule in Canada
• These reforms in light of the Canada Revenue Agency’s newly expanded audit powers
