The constantly evolving US regulatory environment presents numerous challenges for Chinese companies seeking to maintain their business operations while also remaining compliant with a complex web of regulations. To navigate the increasingly dynamic policy environment and as well as market demands, Chinese companies must stay attuned to both current and pending policy developments, and, when necessary, adjust their strategies accordingly.
This event will feature several Morgan Lewis authorities on the US-China relationship and the resulting US regulatory regimes. The discussion will focus on US regulatory risk factors, including export controls, economic sanctions, the new outbound investment restrictions, pending regulations on data transfers to China, pending regulations on Chinese involvement in the connected vehicle supply chain, and the BIOSECURE Act currently process in Congress that would limit Chinese involvement in the life sciences industry. Additionally, we will cover the latest US election results and their implications. We will also address the ways in which Chinese companies can manage regulatory risk to avoid compliance issues while also seeking to advance their
business objectives.
