Partner Sara Aranjo spoke on the panel “The Parameters of Due Process - What Are the Defining Influences on Due Process?” at the 36th Annual Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA) Workshop and Annual Meeting on June 20 in Austin, Texas.
The panel explored due process issues by discussing scenarios highlighting the practices and perspectives of courts, arbitrators, and counsel against the backdrop of a variety of norms and influences. These included national laws, legal traditions, and cultures arbitration agreements (including one-off drafting), institutional rules, and soft law.
