Investment management partner Christine Lombardo and of counsel Sarah Riddell were each featured on panels during the Managed Funds Association’s (MFA) Legal & Compliance 2022 program in New York.
Christine joined senior leaders from Two Sigma Investments, Bridgewater Associates, Millennium Management, and the MFA for a discussion during the general session on the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s proposed rulemaking that will impact private funds.
Sarah—joined by representatives from ExodusPoint Capital Management, the National Futures Association, and Citadel—participated in a breakout panel evaluating regulatory updates, enforcement outlook, LIBOR (London Interbank Offered Rate) transition effects, and operational hurdles. The MFA represents the global alternative investment industry and its investors by advocating for public policies that foster efficient, transparent, and fair capital markets, and competitive tax and regulatory structures.
