WASHINGTON, DC, January 17, 2024: Morgan Lewis is advising the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF) on a pro bono basis in a planned merger with the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE).
TLDEF is committed to ending discrimination based on gender identity and expression and to achieving equality for transgender people through public education, test-case litigation, direct legal services, and public policy efforts. NCTE advocates for changing policies and educating society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people.
