Partner Manita Rawat is featured in IPWatchdog’s Intellectual Property (IP) Wishes roundup, telling the publication her patent wish for 2023 for more patent application filings for technology involving artificial intelligence (AI). Manita noted that technology tied to AI is growing in areas like retail, ecommerce, and autonomous vehicles, with the US Patent and Trademark Office issuing more than 15,000 AI-related patents this past year.
“Thus, AI advancements will continue to expand, and we should see a continuation of this trend with respect to patent filings,” Manita said.
