T. Cullen Wallace represents employers across industries in complex employment-related litigation, including wage and hour class and collective actions; expedited proceedings concerning enforceability of restrictive covenants; mass arbitrations; and discrimination, retaliation, and harassment matters initiated under various state and federal laws. Cullen also frequently defends employers across jurisdictions in high-stakes cases involving novel issues related to the enforceability of arbitration agreements in the context of class action and injunction proceedings.
As a member of the firm’s occupational safety and health team, Cullen travels at a moment’s notice to protect employers’ interests in investigations and inspections of workplace accidents and fatalities by government entities such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).
In addition to his litigation practice, Cullen assists employers in preparing executive employment contracts, restrictive covenant agreements, arbitration agreements, and employment policies and procedures. He regularly advises employers on all manner of employment issues, including employee classification and related wage and hour compliance issues. Cullen also manages employment-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions and deals.
Cullen is the knowledge management partner for the firm’s labor and employment practice. In that role, he focuses on leveraging technology and firm resources to more efficiently and effectively serve firm clients.
