A seasoned trial lawyer, Kenneth J. Turnbull litigates complex, high-profile employment cases including US-wide discrimination class actions, single-plaintiff and multiplaintiff discrimination matters, and wrongful discharge disputes. Kenneth devotes a significant portion of his practice to counseling and defending clients in the financial services industry. He frequently appears before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and other arbitration panels to address employment compensation, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, and defamation claims. Kenneth leads the labor and employment practice in New York.
Kenneth’s litigation practice extends to defending clients in restrictive covenant and trade secret disputes, and Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank, and other whistleblower claims. He also represents employers in collective bargaining, union representation elections, labor arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Kenneth advises on internal business matters as well, including the implementation and enforcement of restrictive covenants and arbitration programs; diversity initiatives; issues related to reductions in force; and executive retention and compensation plans. A former co-chair of the firm’s International Labor and Employment group, Kenneth also handles international employment matters.
