Anthony A. Licata directs, plans, and coordinates the global team of professionals who lead and manage operations at Morgan Lewis, including finance, information technology, human resources, and operations. Anthony’s two decades of management and strategic business planning experience in the legal, insurance, and professional services industries includes particular expertise in financial management, business process planning, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Anthony was chief operating officer at another Am Law 100 global firm.
Before entering the legal industry, Anthony served as vice president of finance and administration of Hospitals Insurance Co. (HIC), where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial and administrative activities, including financial statement reporting, management and administration of the company’s investment portfolio, general ledger development and maintenance, pricing, budgeting and planning, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, real estate, facilities, and the human resource function.
Prior to his tenure at HIC, Anthony was global assistant controller for the Commercial Equipment Financing unit at General Electric Co., where he managed teams in the United States and in Delhi, India. He also held significant finance positions at The Hartford and Arthur Andersen.
