Yara AlHowar counsels businesses on a wide range of employment issues, including protected leave, disability accommodation, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour compliance, and internal investigations. Yara also represents companies in commercial and employment disputes involving workplace discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Yara clerked for Judge Robert S. Lasnik at the US District Court for the Western District of Washington and for Judge Lisa Worswick at the Washington State Court of Appeals. Yara has previously handled commercial disputes involving complex contractual disputes and antitrust class action litigation.
