Stephanie Spardone has an extensive background defending Fortune 500 companies with a focus on product liability, complex mass tort, and toxic tort litigation. She has represented clients in myriad industries, including consumer and industrial product manufacturers, automobile manufacturers, contractors, national retailers, and premise owners in litigation involving asbestos, silica, talc, benzene and heavy metals like cadmium and chromium. She has also defended toy and pharmaceutical manufacturers in catastrophic product liability claims involving child injury and death.
Stephanie has served as national coordinating counsel for several corporations, charged with successfully formulating and executing defense strategies to minimize client liability and risk. Before joining Morgan Lewis, she was one of the founding partners of the Dallas office of a national toxic tort defense firm, where she led and managed teams of legal professionals across the country to zealously defend firm clients against product liability claims.
Stephanie, who collaborates closely with clients and corporate counsel to craft and execute targeted and creative case-specific litigation strategies, is detail-oriented, innovative, and collaborative. She is adept at assessing and preparing for all phases of litigation, including accurately defining the scope of required internal investigations, assimilating and handling discovery, all forms of motion practice, fact and expert witness deposition preparation and defense, and trial.
