Michael L. Kitain is part of a team that concentrates on diverse transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, spinoffs, and strategic alliances. Other areas of his work include matters involving finance, restructuring, tax, and securities, including public and private equity, and debt offerings. Michael advises clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and investment banks to emerging market companies.
While in law school, Michael was a student attorney in the Community Enterprise Clinic, where he advised nonprofit organizations in the local community. He was also a staff editor for Law & Contemporary Problems and served as treasurer for the Transactional Law Society.
Prior to law school, Michael worked in the secondary mortgage industry, focusing on financial modeling and forecasting.
