He primarily focuses on intellectual property, product liability, and toxic tort cases, as well as commercial and white collar litigation in US federal and state court. He also counsels clients on legal, technical, and strategic issues involved in the manufacturing, healthcare, software, social media, and investment industries.
Leonard skillfully drafts and negotiates protective orders and electronically stored information (ESI) orders. He is a pioneer in the development of industry-leading workflows and has an extensive background in data minimization and leveraging technology to optimize accuracy and efficiency. He is an advocate and key stakeholder in the development of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies projected to redefine the legal technology landscape. Possessing more than a decade’s worth of knowledge of high-volume, high-pressure matters, Leonard works closely with clients to tailor both legal and review strategies, focusing on best practices and exceptional client service.
Leonard maintains an active pro bono practice. He recently represented a young Honduran woman and her minor son before the Philadelphia Immigration Court, where he successfully secured a grant of withholding of removal under the Convention Against Torture.
