Lea Giotto advises clients in the energy and project development sectors on regulatory and transactional matters. She has experience helping clients on wholesale markets issues, rate matters, and enforcement proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and on cybersecurity matters affecting energy infrastructure. Lea also helps advise developers, sponsors, financial institutions, and utilities on transactional matters, including project finance and development, debt and equity financing, and disposition of power generation, both for non-renewable and renewable energy sources.
While in law school, Lea served as an academic mentor to other law students and served as the notes and comments editor of The Catholic University Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Lea worked in consulting, where she advised clients operating in the energy industry on public affairs and litigation communications matters.
