Jewelle Vernon advises public and private clients on a wide variety of employee benefit and executive compensation issues. She focuses her practice on complex matters involving tax-qualified plans; health and welfare plans; equity and incentive compensation; employment, retention, and severance arrangements; and the employee benefits aspects of corporate transactions. She represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service in a range of proceedings and counsels clients on compliance with the Internal Revenue Code and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act. Jewelle is admitted in the District of Columbia only, and her practice is supervised by IL Bar members.
