Fannie Law

Fannie currently serves as an associate representative of the firm’s Asian American/Asian Lawyer Network and is a member of the New York office’s Recruiting Committee.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Fannie worked in compliance and legal project management at an international law firm. She has worked for in-house counsel in the technology and investment management sectors. While in law school, Fannie was the notes and articles editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and advised early-stage startup clients in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic.

• Represented Freeman Spogli & Co. and its portfolio company Baseline Fitness LLC, a franchisee of 100 Planet Fitness health clubs in 10 states, in the sale of Baseline Fitness to Mayfair Capital Partners
• Represented Freeman Spogli & Co. in its acquisition of US Med-Equip
• Represented Lifetime Brands, Inc. in its acquisition of Can’t Live Without It (d/b/a S’well Bottle), a global designer, wholesaler, and retailer of reusable, vacuum-insulated products
• Represented Spot On in connection with its acquisition by merger of Appetize Technologies for $415 million, financed in part through the issuance of $300 million of Series D-1 Preferred Stock
• Represented Bold Penguin, a provider of commercial insurance exchange technology, in its sale to AmFam, Inc., a subsidiary of American Family
• Represented Spire Orthopedic Partners, a portfolio company of Kohlberg & Company, in its acquisition of Orthopaedic Surgical Associates, a comprehensive orthopedic and spine care practice in Chelmsford, Massachusetts
• Represented an entity owned by Diamond Communications LLC and Sculptor Capital Management, Inc. in its $1.6 billion acquisition of Melody Wireless Infrastructure, a real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns a portfolio of approximately 2,300 tenanted wireless communication sites, from Melody Capital Management
• Represented BioSpecifics Technologies Corp. as outside general counsel in a variety of corporate matters, including Securities and Exchange Commission compliance and capital markets transactions and its sale to Endo Pharmaceuticals for $658 million in equity value
• Represented A.P. Moeller-Maersk in its acquisition of Visible Supply Chain Management, a US-based leading B2C/ecommerce logistics and parcel delivery system
• Represented PTC Inc. in its acquisition of Arena Solutions, a software-as-a-service product lifecycle management platform provider
• Represented Freeman Spogli & Co. in its acquisition of Easy Ice
