Emily W. Booth represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation, class actions, and business disputes. She litigates a variety of issues, including personal injury, corporate ownership, breach of contract, environmental liability, and unfair business claims. Emily has experience representing clients from the pre-complaint stage through fact and expert discovery, favorable settlements, and appeals. Her clients include Fortune 50 technology, banking, motor vehicle, and healthcare companies. Emily maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in asylum matters, civil rights actions, and appellate arguments.
Emily holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where she was a member of the American University Law Review and a member of the Civil Litigation Clinic. Prior to law school, Emily served in the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso as a girls’ education and empowerment specialist and worked for a non-profit assisting international service providers combatting issues of domestic violence and human trafficking.
