Elisa Egonu is part of a team that advises clients on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including litigation and counseling. She helps employers and management resolve issues, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
While in law school, Elisa served as an articles editor on the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and co-directed the Georgetown Barristers’ Council Trial Advocacy Division. Elisa also represented individuals in the Law Students in Court clinic in a variety of housing and small claims matter. She continues to work on matters relating to housing conditions as part of her pro bono practice at Morgan Lewis.
Elisa interned for Judge Anita Josey-Herring in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia in the fall of 2017 and for the National Labor Relations Board in the spring of 2019.
