Evan K. Jacobs is a versatile litigator who handles complex and bet-the-company multidistrict litigation, mass tort claims, state attorney general investigations, consumer protection, and unfair competition disputes. Evan has acted as national counsel managing all aspects of the defense in nationwide opioid litigation for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, including coordinating multiple trial teams, defending novel public nuisance theories in state and federal court, and addressing complex discovery issues in multijurisdictional litigation with active cases throughout the United States.
Evan has experience in efficiently managing discovery across multiple jurisdictions and overseeing ediscovery; coordinating with plaintiff and defense steering committees; negotiating settlements with various stakeholders, including attorneys general and private contingency counsel; and implementing litigation strategy.
