Caiti Zeytoonian focuses her practice on antitrust and consumer protection. She represents clients in government investigations and enforcement actions and private litigation matters concerning allegations of restraints of trade, unfair competition, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and related claims. Caiti represents clients in US courts and before the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the US Department of Justice (DOJ), state attorneys general, and other regulatory authorities. Caiti also works with companies across sectors to develop competitive and compliant marketplace strategies. Caiti’s commentary and scholarship on consumer protection issues have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, and National Law Review.
Caiti advises and represents clients across industries, including apparel, automotive, consumer products, ecommerce, manufacturing, retail, and technology. In addition to defending clients in antitrust and consumer protection investigations and representing clients in high-stakes antitrust and consumer protection litigation matters, Caiti specializes in proactive compliance and risk mitigation counseling. She counsels clients on a broad range of issues, including advertising and marketing (print advertising as well as telemarketing, email marketing, and social media/influencer marketing), promotional activities (sweepstakes and contests), consumer data use and collection, product distribution/development, and merger-related conduct. She recognizes that every company faces unique risks and challenges, and she enjoys working with clients to develop tailored and practical solutions, compliance practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
