Benjamin Everton
Ben Everton represents clients in intellectual property (IP) disputes before federal district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He focuses his practice on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and technology disputes. He has extensive experience representing both patent owners and petitioners in inter partes review proceedings before the PTAB. Ben’s mechanical engineering background and technical aptitude bolster his representation of clients across industries, including medical device, consumer electronics, automotive, sporting goods, and product manufacturing, among others.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Ben was a partner at a national IP law firm where he was co-chair of the firm’s PTAB Trials practice group. He also chaired the firm’s education committee. Ben previously worked as an engineer at a global medical device company.
