Audrey A. Jeung focuses on the private investment fund industry, primarily the formation and ongoing operations of such funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, funds of funds, and funds of one, among other products. She advises sponsors on day-to-day management as well as sophisticated bespoke matters. Additionally, Audrey represents institutional investors in their co-investments, primary investments, and as buyers and sellers of private fund interests in the secondary market, bringing a valuable perspective to both fund sponsors and LP-side clients.
Audrey also advises investment managers on other aspects of their business, including the structuring of their upper-tier entities, seed investor arrangements, and other legal, compliance, and transactional matters. She offers clients deep and practical knowledge of the application and interpretation of US securities laws as they relate to private funds and their sponsors. Her practice includes formation of and investment into US domestic and international private investment funds, for which she works closely with the Morgan Lewis global teams as well as international outside counsel, including trusted contacts in the Cayman Islands, Canada, and across Asian and European jurisdictions.
Audrey began her career in the firm’s New York office, and through her more than 15 years of practice, which included in-house experience at AIG, she has gained in-depth market knowledge and positioned herself as a reliable and responsive resource to clients in an ever-evolving market.
