Andrew Arthur focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and corporate governance, primarily advising private equity clients and their portfolio companies. Andy advises myriad clients in the technology, telecommunications, professional services, and consumer products sectors and works closely with the firm’s tax-exempt organizations team to advise nonprofit clients on transactional and corporate governance matters. Andy began his career at Morgan Lewis with a focus on real estate transactions, helping clients with acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of commercial real estate across multiple asset classes.
Since 2021, Andy has taught coursework in mergers and acquisitions as an adjunct law lecturer at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Andy worked for almost a decade in commercial banking in the Washington, DC area. While in law school, Andy worked for three years as a law clerk for a litigation firm in Washington, DC where he supported attorneys on criminal and civil matters.
