Allison Heimann advises tax-exempt organizations on a broad range of issues including impact investing, governance, corporate structuring, private foundation excise tax compliance, corporate sponsorship, and lobbying and political campaign activity. Her experience includes requesting private letter rulings on complex transactions and advocating for clients before state administrative and regulatory bodies.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Allison practiced as a trusts and estates attorney advising high-net-worth families and individuals on tax, estate, and philanthropic planning matters. She leverages that background to work with family offices, individuals, businesses, private foundations, and other organizations on complex planning and trust structuring, as well as issues related to income and transfer tax planning in the philanthropic context.
