Sandra Formica represents clients in government enforcement matters involving the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the US Department of Justice (DOJ). Sandra also counsels clients in connection with internal investigations as well as high-stakes commercial litigation including class actions and multidistrict litigation (MDL). She represents clients from a wide range of industries, including the financial services, banking, technology, and life sciences sectors. Sandra regularly advises clients on a full range of regulatory and compliance issues.
While in law school, Sandra served as a notes editor for The George Washington Law Review and interned for Judge Amit P. Mehta of the US District Court for the District of Columbia. Sandra was also bestowed with the President’s Volunteer Service Award (Gold Medal) for her work in her community. Sandra continues to maintain an active pro bono practice.
