Karen Y. Cho specializes in high-stakes employment litigation, and has successfully represented clients in all litigation forums, including federal and state court jury trials and arbitrations. Karen represents management in employment disputes ranging from single-plaintiff litigation to class and collective action matters. She advises employers on a broad range of employment law matters, including those involving systemic and individual discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability accommodation, wrongful termination, breach of contract, pay equity, and wage and hour compliance. Karen also regularly provides workplace training and conducts internal investigations for companies from startups to the Fortune 500.

As a member of the labor and employment practice group’s Trial Ready team, Karen is an experienced employment trial lawyer who provides strategic advice to clients on sensitive and complex matters and defends them through trial if litigation cannot be avoided. Karen has worked with clients across numerous industries including technology, aerospace and defense, retail and e-commerce, healthcare, financial services, transportation, and many others. Karen is also routinely sought out to counsel clients from all over the country on California’s pay data reporting and pay transparency compliance requirements.
