Dasha Sobornova advises arrangers, investment managers, investors (including CLO lenders) and corporate services providers on a range of structured finance transactions, with a particular focus on CLOs. She also advises fund managers and lenders on fund securitizations and other bespoke direct lending and portfolio finance solutions.
Dasha has a deep knowledge of the EU Securitization Regulation and the UK Securitization Framework and regularly acts as a transactional regulatory advisor for all types of securitization structures.
Dasha has worked on restructurings of pre-crisis RMBS transactions as well as advising corporate services providers on the replacement of downgraded agent banks, defaulted hedge providers, and structured replacement hedge transactions.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Dasha was a structured finance partner at another global law firm. Earlier in her career, she completed a secondment at a leading US bank in London, assisting with the establishment of European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR)-related internal policies and procedures.
