Partner Merryn Craske was quoted in a GlobalCapital Securitization article discussing the European Securities and Markets Authority’s proposal to simplify private securitization templates so that they only apply to deals from EU sources.
“It was anticipated that the simplified reporting template for private securitizations would mitigate the problem,” said Merryn. “If the template applies only to EU deals, it will do nothing to help EU investors in third-country deals after all.”
