LONDON, January 11, 2021: Morgan Lewis represented alternative investment manager EnTrust Global in the financing provided by EnTrust's Blue Ocean funds for the acquisition of United Arab Chemical Carriers (UACC) by United Overseas Group (UOG) via a reverse triangular merger in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
EnTrust Global is a diversified alternative investment firm that manages money for institutions and private investors worldwide. Its Blue Ocean strategy actively deploys debt capital to select shipowners around the world in a market environment deeply impacted by the retrenchment of banks as capital providers. UACC provides marine transportation services and operates a fleet of vessels to transport refined oil products and petrochemicals. UOG is controlled by shipping industry veterans Peter Georgiopoulos and Leonidas Vrondissis.
