LONDON, August 12, 2020: Morgan Lewis advised MUFG Bank. Ltd.(“MUFG Bank”) on its agreement with Ripcord Inc. to implement a service based on Ripcord’s robotics and AI technology to digitize paper documents for MUFG Bank customers’ convenience and business process efficiency. The deal was completed on July 22.
MUFG Bank is a Japanese bank with a global network spanning approximately 50 countries. Ripcord is a robotics digitization company focused on the records management space through the use of robots that scan, index, and categorize paper records, making them searchable in the cloud and integrated into existing business processes.
