Leigha Beckman focuses her practice on antitrust litigation, government antitrust investigations, and counseling. Her work includes multidistrict litigation and cases involving monopolization and tying claims brought under the Sherman Act as well as California’s Cartwright Act and Unfair Competition Law. She also has experience in antitrust class actions, including working closely with economist expert teams through concurrent expert proceedings and class certification. Prior to law school, Leigha supported testifying experts in performing financial, accounting, and economic analysis in complex business disputes.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Leigha served as an extern for Judge Tigar in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, and as a law clerk for the Federal Trade Commission, Western Region in San Francisco. Leigha also worked in dispute advisory services for financial, accounting, and intellectual property experts, serving as the engagement lead for client firms and managing all testifying expert work product produced in federal litigation, including expert reports and supporting analyses, with a focus on intellectual property matters.
