Dr. Christoph Mikyska represents national and international clients on a broad array of intellectual property matters. He focuses on prosecution, portfolio management, brand strategy, licensing, and infringement matters, particularly those related to trademarks, designs, copyrights, and unfair competition. Christoph concentrates his practice on IP litigation and related advice, representing clients in high-profile disputes before the German and European Union authorities and courts. He has represented clients in several landmark litigation cases before German courts of appeal and the German Federal Supreme Court (Bundesgerichtshof) in trademark and copyright matters. Trilingual, Christoph speaks English, German, and Spanish.
Christoph represents clients in the relevant German infringement courts (first instance and appellate proceedings), the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the European courts (General Court and Court of Justice of the EU) in all matters concerning trademark, design, and copyright law as well as unfair competition law.
