Tadao Horibe advises clients on financing, securities, and real estate transactions, including the liquidation of assets that use TMK and TK-GK structures and the provision of regulatory advice to financial institutions, financial instruments, business operators, high-speed traders, and real estate agents. Tadao also has experience in trust transactions and general corporate matters, including venture startup transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions.
With respect to financing transactions, Tadao advises Japanese banks and international and Japanese borrowers on asset financing by loans with collateral and guarantees or by bonds. In addition, Tadao advises on Japanese collateral over shares, real properties, credits, collective movables, or intellectual property rights, as well as guarantees by Japanese entities to secure international loans.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Tadao spent more than 10 years as a partner at other leading international and domestic law firms.
