Susan Zhu represents and advises clients on antitrust and competition matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), government investigations, complex antitrust litigation, and corporate counseling. Susan represents clients before the Federal Trade Commission, the US Department of Justice, international competition authorities, and in federal and state courts. She has represented Fortune 250 companies, private equity sponsors, and other clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, technology, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.
Susan represents clients on the antitrust aspects of M&A, joint ventures, and other business combinations and collaborations. Susan regularly counsels clients with respect to agency strategy and procedure; premerger conduct counseling; contract negotiations; merger control analysis, filings, and approvals; and substantive advocacy before various competition law authorities in the United States and abroad.
With respect to litigation, Susan has represented several technology and life science companies in restraint of trade and single firm monopolization cases.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Susan worked at a boutique antitrust law firm in New York and the antitrust group of another major international law firm in Washington, DC. Susan is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
