Sheryl K. Horwitz
Sheryl K. Horwitz counsels employers in connection with all aspects of employment issues, including wage and hour compliance, employee discipline and termination, workplace restructuring, hiring and termination documentation, and personnel policies and procedures. Sheryl also spends a significant amount of time providing employment experience in connection with corporate mergers and acquisitions, including analyzing due diligence and assessing risk, drafting executive agreements, restrictive covenants and employment-related provisions in the operative deal documents, and implementing workplace reorganization.
In addition to her counseling and transactional work, Sheryl regularly defends companies in nationwide and local wage and hour class actions, as well as discrimination, wrongful termination, and other employment-related litigation at the administrative agency, trial court, and appellate court levels.
Sheryl services clients across numerous industries, including retail, healthcare, technology, and financial services.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Sheryl was of counsel at another international law firm where she was active in the firm’s pro bono and mentoring programs.
