Randall Gleason utilizes his prior experience as in-house counsel for technology and fintech companies to advise tech companies, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, financial institutions, insurance companies, and healthcare and pharmaceutical companies on a broad spectrum of complex transactions involving commercial contracts, outsourcing, intellectual property (IP), and privacy and cybersecurity. Randy’s practice focuses on negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts and advising clients on artificial intelligence, data privacy and security, third-party risk management, IP development and licensing, and go-to-market planning for products and services.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Randy was in-house counsel for global technology and fintech companies advising on various commercial, corporate, legal, and business matters related to software development and licensing, product manufacturing and distribution, professional services, privacy and security compliance, product marketing, revenue recognition, and dispute resolution. Randy also previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in which role he litigated criminal cases from arraignment to trial.
As a law student, Randy served as the Associate Managing Editor of the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy, clerked for the Chief Justice of the Brockton District Court, and participated in the student prosecutor clinical program.
