Kim has a significant background with utility mortgages, in both the issuance of bonds and the ongoing management of activity under, and modernization of, mortgages. In addition to her work on secured and unsecured debt issuances in both registered offerings and private placements, Kim counsels clients in equity transactions and arrangements such as at-the-market programs, equity forwards, and other issuances of both common and preferred equity. Her experience includes more complex financing structures such as pollution control and other tax-exempt bonds and nuclear fuel–secured notes.
