Morgan Lewis partner Lee Harding and associate Will Mallin co-authored an article for Employment Law Journal about a recent High Court judgement, which held that the UK government failed to extend health and safety protections to “limb b” workers. The case examined an important topic coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic related to the employers’ responsibility to gig economy workers in providing personal protective equipment (PPE). “Employers that have adopted a more relaxed approach to workers’ health and safety would be well advised to revisit their policies and practices” said Lee.
