Intellectual property associate Alyssa Pugh will serve as a judge on Nucleate Philadelphia’s Activator Demo Day, a pitch competition that brings together biotech startups from institutions across Philadelphia and Pittsburgh to pitch their startups to a panel of expert judges.
The networking event further aims to connect Philadelphia’s biotech leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, and others that support this region’s innovative start-up ecosystem. Nucleate’s Activator program is a six-month, equity-free program designed for academic biotech founders and its curriculum has served more than 100 life sciences ventures that have raised more than $190 million in venture funding.
