Matthew K. Cubin

Matt maintains an active pro bono practice, through which he represents various nonprofit organizations in connection with entity formation, obtaining 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, and other corporate matters.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Matt was a corporate associate at a Delaware law firm, where he counseled Delaware corporations on negotiated acquisitions and divestitures as well as issues of corporate governance. While attending law school, he served as a managing editor of the Iowa Law Review.

• Represented Park Lawn Corporation, the largest publicly traded Canadian-owned funeral, cremation, and cemetery provider, in multiple strategic acquisitions, including:

• Represented Roo Veterinary, a provider of a marketplace to connect animal hospitals with relief vets and techs, in its $11 million Series A financing from Jackson Square Ventures, Floodgate, AirAngels, and Uplyft Funds, among others
