LONDON, November 14, 2024: Morgan Lewis was named North American Law Firm of the Year at International Employment Lawyer’s IEL Awards ceremony, held November 13 in London. The awards honor the achievements in the last year of law firms and lawyers assisting clients with employment-related matters around the globe.
The North American Law Firm of the Year award recognizes the depth of Morgan Lewis’s overall work for clients, which includes day-to-day human relations support and compliance, transactional support, advice on disputes, and overseeing investigations.
Morgan Lewis also received special commendation in the Labor Relations Management Team of the Year category for helping clients respond to the resurgent labor movement, and skill in giving advice on collective bargaining, industrial actions, disputes, and regulatory enforcement; and in the flagship International Employment Law Team of the Year category, which recognizes a cross-border team that stands out for its practice covering day-to-day labor and employment advice, transactional support, and disputes work.
The firm was additionally a finalist in the Global Mobility Team of the Year, Disputes Team of the Year, Investigations Team of the Year, and European Law Firm of the Year categories, while partner Louise Skinner was a finalist for International Employment Lawyer of the Year – Private Practice.
