Employers Can Bar Unvaccinated Employees from the Workplace, EEOC Says, CBS News

Morgan Lewis partner Sharon Masling spoke with CBS News about the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s recently released guidance that employers can mandate employees be vaccinated for COVID-19 in certain circumstances.

In the article, she discussed what obligations employers may have to employees that do not get vaccinated for religious or medical reasons, noting that "at some point, if they are on job-protected unpaid leave, that might rise to the level of undue hardship. But it would be on a case-by-case basis.”
