Anthony O’Driscoll advises clients on complex, multijurisdictional disputes in the English High Court and Commercial Court. He has experience advising on large-scale group actions that include parent company liability claims involving alleged human rights abuses in foreign jurisdictions. Anthony has also advised on high-value contractual, shareholder, and complex fraud disputes.
Anthony’s experience includes defending an international agribusiness, Camellia plc, and related English companies against two separate sets of proceedings in the High Court. These proceedings involved novel parent company liability claims concerning alleged human rights abuses in foreign operations in Kenya and Malawi.
Anthony has also advised a senior executive in connection with the termination of indemnity arrangements with a former international bank. He has an active pro bono practice, including acting for a charity in proceedings involving the advancement of LGBTQ rights in the Cayman Islands and acting for victims of domestic violence and abuse.
