Partner Olga Berson was a guest on the Hsu Untied podcast, where she talked about the transition from working in industrial chemistry to practicing patent law.
Olga, who holds a Ph.D. in environmental science and chemistry, said her scientific background has been extremely helpful in her legal career, particularly when it comes to helping clients in the life sciences sector.
“In patent law, you can’t avoid science,” she said. “You really have to have technical knowledge to be able to do your job.”
