NEW YORK, November 30, 2023: Morgan Lewis is a 2023–2024 recipient of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion. The firm received a perfect score of 100 on the foundation’s 2023–2024 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and has been recognized in the annual report since 2009.
The annual CEI survey and report evaluate US-based businesses’ LGBTQ+ policies and practices across four central pillars: nondiscrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families; support for an inclusive culture; and corporate social responsibility. Morgan Lewis has routinely been named a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality, a designation the Human Rights Campaign Foundation previously gave to organizations with a perfect score.
Among Morgan Lewis’s efforts to promote LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace is its LGBTQ+ Lawyer Network—one of nine groups in the firm that promote a culture of belonging for all of the firm’s talent. In collaboration with the firm’s pro bono practice, members of the lawyer network regularly take on LBGTQ+ civil rights and immigration cases.
